We had a sad situation last week. Comical now, but sad then. One night a little after bedtime Landon came upstairs crying. He said that he had fallen on the rocks outside while he was looking at the chickens in the backyard. We weren't too happy that he had gone outside when he was supposed to be sleeping of course. He wasn't hurt so we hurriedly took him back to bed. The next day Adam noticed that the screen from Landon's room window was on the ground and a light went off in his head. We asked Landon what had really happened and this time got more of the story. He did indeed fall on the rocks while looking at the chickens, but he happened to be in his bedroom at the time. The poor guy fell seven feet onto some gravel when he leaned too hard on the screen window. Thank goodness he didn't get badly hurt, because we assumed he was in bed and we might not have found him for some time. It was a little scary actually.

Wow. Yikes and Yikes again. First, thats a crazy picture of that black widow, in your front yard!!! and poor Landon, falling out the window. Its amazing kids ever grow up to be healthy adults
What a tough little guy, I can't believe he didn't get seriously injured!! And you have chickens in your backyard???
