Calvin turns 7

Where does the time go?

Adam surprised us all by creating leaving a birthday wish for Calvin before leaving for work. What a thoughtful daddy.

Because Cal's birthday landed on a school day we decided to surpise him by bringing cheeseburgers from DQ and eating lunch with him in the cafeteria. He thought that was pretty great.

Calvin invited his good buddy Cameron to come and eat with us. Those two are practically attached at the hip!

We had Calvin's favorite for dinner, crepes, and then open gifts. Our neighbor, Lisa, joined in the fun.

You may be able to tell from the huge smile that Calvin was over the moon about the starwars Legos him Grammy and Grandpa Hagey sent him.I don't know what it is about little boys and weapons but besides Legos, that's nearly all my kids want to play with. They couldn't wait to use the bow and arrows on our chickens.

Making the birthday wish....some serious thought was going into this.
