Portland Timbers soccer team

Adam was so excited when Portland got their very first professional soccer team, the Timbers. We went and saw them play against a Canadian team - who they beat. Soccer fans are usually die-hards so it was as much fun to watch the fans as it was to watch the game. We went with some of our very best friends, Michael and Anna, so the whole night was just a ton of fun. We had orginally planned to go to the game after running a half marathon with them (we planned this like five months in advance) but Adam injured his knee a few weeks before while training and I got pregnant so we were a disappointment in that catagory. But Michael and Anna went and did great! We want to make it a goal to see at least one professional soccer game every year. Maybe next time we'll take the boys!
